Internships & Entry Level

If you are in college and know you would like a career as a CPA, we would like to speak with you. Recent college graduates will receive well rounded training spanning from private sector entities, non-profit organizations, and government related services.

Opportunity - During the internship, the employee will have an opportunity to:

  1. Complete several "real world" case studies during their first week to ten days to provide the foundation to help them start on the right track (training).

  2. Work on the same types of projects full-time staff accountants are assigned during the first year or two of their careers (exposure to the profession).

  3. Participate in a team approach to gathering, analyzing and completing projects (teamwork).

  4. Use Windows-based, integrated accounting, depreciation, tax and office software to complete assignments (innovative).

  5. Consult with professionals at various levels within the firm (interact).

  6. Assist with projects involving numerous industries and tax structures (variety).

Qualifications - We look forward to discussing our internship opportunity with candidates who:

  1. Have completed their junior year (basic skills).

  2. Have an overall "B" grade point average or higher (educational success).

  3. Are willing to commit to a 50 to 60 hour work week from January 5 through May 15 with no other employment during the internship (dedication).

  4. Are self starters, who are motivated and have a strong desire to succeed (drive).

  5. Would be willing to spend a semester learning in a non-classroom setting with no other educational commitments during the internship (non-traditional learning).

  6. Would enjoy challenging work and have a strong desire to learn (never stop learning).
